Dear District Council Members,
Good evening. Here is the latest update from the DTAC 2013 Committee.
As of 25th December 2012, at the close of the Early Bird Discount Offer and reconciling our books – we are proud to announce that we have crossed the 600 mark in the number of delegates who have registered. This is wonderful news for all of us, here as well as in the entire District and this was possible because of YOU – if you had not taken the decision to register for this event, we would not have reached this target.
I definitely would also like to thank our great Marketing team led by Ms. Sunshine Gerodias who carried the message all over through emails, face book & twitter posts, visit to various clubs and events within the UAE; our Support & Coordination team led by Ms. Sumita Narayan who ensured that active support was provided in terms of registrations and inquiries; our lady who called almost everyone who registered through Credit Card – Ms. Vidya; some of our Sponsorship Committee & Education Committee members led by Ms. Revathy Venkatratnam and Ms. Anupama Parkar who attended to the DTAC registration desks at Toastmaster events within UAE and not to forget, many of YOU who coordinated the registrations so well within your respective Divisions, Areas & Clubs. As rightfully stated, this is a Dream Team.
With many more registrations to come up, especially the Contestants, some who could not register early, the Gaveliers etc., -THE MORE THE MERRIER - this is going to be a rollicking Roller Coaster ride for all of us during the next five months till such time the event is successfully hosted.
At this juncture, I would like to say A BIG THANK YOU to one and all and WISH YOU A VERY HAPPY & PROSPEROUS NEW 2013.
